Have you spent time on the internet looking for a free reverse phone book for cells, but only come up with results of sites that charge a fee, or let you search for the number for free, then charge you at the last moment to retrieve the information? In this article is information on where you may be able to find this information for free.

Greypages and Reverse Phone books’ hold information on customers who have previously held a particular number or an association with a toll free number. These phone books unfortunately do not hold information on cell numbers or fax numbers. It may be hard to find cell numbers on a reverse phone book as of the concerns raised over privacy issues for customers of the cell phone. So are they websites available where you can search for information on the previous owner of your current cell number?

Are you receiving calls from an unwanted person and want to find their location? Or are you getting calls from nuisance telemarketers and need them to stop. Or are you looking for someone you have lost contact with and want to find their cell number to be able to reconnect with them?

Be cautious of websites that claim to offer you information for free, their information may be incorrect or old information. To get the correct information and more information rather then just a number, such as an address or cell provider, you should register with a site that charges a fee for the information.

The fee may only be a small amount, you may have the option to pay a membership fee or a one off payment for the information you require, which payment method you choose should depend on the amount of information you may need to obtain. When you pay the fee you may also be able to receive other information on the owner of the number such as the number provider and an address of that number.

To gain this information these websites purchase their information from cell providers databases and this is quite a substantial fee, so for the reverse cell phone book to be profitable they need to charge users a fee for their services.

Make sure you are certain that you want to know the information about the owner of the number, or previous owner of the number that you are searching for. This person may be someone who should not be contacted. Before paying your fee for the information check when the websites information was last updated, so that you are not paying for information that is out of date.
